Kyiv's water supply company Kyivvodokanal plans to raise prices for water supplies and sewage services from June-July, 2018.

Water supply tariffs for Kyiv residents living in multi-apartment buildings will grow from UAH 8.28 to UAH 9.86 per cubic meter, while sewage services – from UAH 7.2 to UAH 8.65 per cubic meter, Gazeta.ua reports, referring to Kyivvodokanal's spokesperson Viktoria Yakovleva.

"But the issue is still under discussion. So, final tariffs may still be changed," she said.

The price hike is associated with an increase in the cost of electricity and reagents, as well as the growth of minimum wages.

The Ukrainian National Energy and Utilities Regulation Commission has already approved the new tariffs.
