More Kyiv children reported infected with measles
Fourteen children suffering from measles have recently been admitted at the Kyiv City Children's Clinical Hospital of Infectious Diseases, the press service of Kyiv City State Administration informs.
Twelve of them have been brought since year-start. The doctors note that such an increase in the incidence is due to the fact that the children attended mass festivities during the holiday period.
Doctors say that the vast majority of infectious diseases, such as measles, chicken pox, and rubella are transmitted by airborne droplets and begin with colds or SARS symptoms: running nose, coughing, and light fever.
