Some 300 residents of Kyiv's Pozniaky district and an organized group of local activists held a rally on Wednesday evening demanding that a new, unfinished gas station on Revutskoho Street, which they claim has been built too close to the residential area in violation of construction standards and without required documents, be dismantled, as reported by LB.ua.

After police forces arrived at the scene, clashes ensued. The protesters inflicted damage to the gas station property, smashing newly-installed gas pumps with hammers, LB reports.
