Ukraine anti-sniper complex presented at 'Arms and Security 2017' exhibit in Kyiv
A reconnaissance complex for the detection of optical devices SICH was presented at the 14th International Specialized Exhibition 'Arms and Security 2017' in Kyiv on October 11, according to TV Channel 24.
The optoelectronic complex is capable of video-monitoring terrain 24/7, searching for targets, and automatically detecting camouflaged optical devices for aiming and observing, which allows preventing a sniper attack or terrorist act at a stage of its preparation.
"The device identifies lenses, cameras, and sights. It reads specific target coordinates, which can help a sniper to lock the target [enemy sniper]," said Production Manager Maksym Volkov.
